Which Twilight Saga movie do you think is better? Twilight movie or New Moon? I haven't seen New Moon yet, so I can't say... but what do YOU think? :))

My cousin who was a die hard fan now hates the series because of the Twilight and New Moon movies. She came home last night with a headache and a drool soaked shirt because of the fans sitting behind her. She's totally embarrassed to say she was ever a Twilight fan and ended up building a bonfire out of the Twilight stuff she had.

Twilight showed more character depth.. New Moon was truer to the book. I'll re-watch Twilight more than New Moon prolly cuz Edward had a bigger part in it. New Moon was my least favorite book, but all in all, the movie captured its essence. I just got tired of all the screaming out in the night by Bella...

ok, but some people also scream the same things about Edward and thats completely the same.. And about the first reason.. I dont think, that Bella really hurts Edward.. he hurts her in NM and then, Bella hurts Jacob.. but Edward still comes immaculately from it.. and omg, poor Jake!

I was really impressed with New Moon considering of all the books that one would be the hardest to put on film. It managed to capture all of the emotions and translate them into film not to mention also filled in the missing pieces that the Twilight movie left out. The special effects were great, the scenery beautiful, I laughed, started tearing and even jumped. This movie should be seen in the theater as the surround sound was intense in a couple places, as well as, the visual effects. It was truly a great night out. Kudos to Chris Weitz he pulled it off.

By the way, Twilight did pull off teenage angst and amazing music, but had a couple missing scenes from the book. It was obvious that New Moon had a bigger budget, but no matter I am a fan of all of the books and both of the movies so far. Never mind the haters as they will always just be haters.

By the way, as a side note: There were more adults than young teens at the show I went to and just about even on the ratio of males to females. There were no boos, lots of laughs and gasps. There are a few people that have tried to paint a different picture than that - so just saying.

I actually wasn't gunna go see but I got to go for free and eat free popcorn so that made it a deal. I actaully enjoyed the werewolves. Much better then the book was. The important vampire people was really boring and I almost fell asleep at that part.

I haven't seen New Moon so I can't pass judgment, but I think it looked slightly better than Twilight, which isn't saying much of course.

Absolutely miserable. Total cinematic disasterpieces in both cases in every respect. The acting, effects, plot, direction all left much to be desired. Great monoliths of mediocrity poisoning popular culture with disgusting displays of terrible performers contaminating the silver screen purely by virtue of supposed "sex appeal", with a target demographic of prepubescent girls. Earth to Twilight production officials: no one cares about the opinions of prepubescent girls, and you could honestly go without their filthy money by targeting a wider demographic with productions of better quality. Twilight is just a disgrace to cinema and indictment against the entertainment industry as a whole, as well as its counterparts an abomination among literary works.

LOL tell us what you REALLY think. Unfortunately, our age demographic doesn't go to the movies, where the production companies make their money. Most people would rather sit at home and watch on their own (ie netflix, xbox live, blue ray, dvd). Prepubescent girls are all they have left to bank on. Look at the past 3 years - the only movie that even touches that return on investment was Dark Knight, all the others ran in the red.

That's my honest opinion of the movies. The books were pretty unbearable as well. I tried, but couldn't seem to finish a whole Twilight series book. Terrible waste of money on my part, as well as a good two hours or so, six if I count the time invested in the first film and the wait to get in, etc (not to mention quite a bit of time in making attempts at the books). If I could, I'd get my money back and erase those horrific films from my memory. It is true that the film industry panders to the youth, and the youth reciprocates, thus another massive indictment against the entertainment industry. It's sad.

LOL - But you're a guy. Guys don't like straight romance, so I think The Twilight Saga wasn't made for ya.. It's all Romeo and Juliet - even the action is mild. It's about kissy faces and longing looks.
