Which is your favourite Star Trek series?

I like every series except Enterprise, but The Next Generation takes the cake.

Picard is the man. If Kirk gave me an order, i'd just commit suicide and save time.

I liked the way that various characters kept rubbing each other up the wrong way. It was a scruffy, messy version of Star Trek that really appealed to me.

I'd have to say the original. That's the one in which you've still got normal human beings exploring space.

TNG got better as it went. In the beginning, it seemed stiff and the characters showed too little emotion, especially negative emotions. That improved as the series went on.

Deep space 9 was boring until Worf arrived. It got good for a while. Then it had to end in a way that was far too similar to Babylon 5.

I just couldn't get too attached to the characters in Voyager. IMO, they should have rested the franchise after that series ended. It was time for a break.

I'd really have to re-watch enterprise to comment too extensively. It was good to go back to lower tech and more human characters, trying to find their way in space for the 1st time. Last episode was terrible.

I tried to watch Enterprise when it first came out. I have to say that the pilot was the best pilot of them all. But our TV station kept moving it around the schedule, then it changed channels altogether a couple of times. Could never get into it. Plus I thought that some of the story arcs were too long. So if you missed an episode or two, you were lost.

Yeah, the scheduling was a mess. And, I do vaguely remember missing an ep or two and having a hard time picking up on all the details. But, I'm gonna have to re-watch it on Netflix. I don't remember it all that well.
