  I loved Maiden's first big splash into the metal scene in '81 with Killers, but after that...not so much. Too dark, I suppose. Megadeth? Dave Mustain never did a thing for me. Metallica was right in their decision to oust him. They rose to stardom with Mustain's replacement, James Hatfield.
  
  As for Dokken, I still love that sound but I have to admit, this album doesn't have the same effect on me it used to. In '86, I would have played it from back to front loving every minute. Now, this sucks to admit, but gimme the 3 hits and I'm satiated. Not quite the quality of some others that I can still pick up and listen to from beginning to end.

  These are all great bands but I am going to have to vote for Megadeth. Iron Maiden would take second then Dokken and Wasp.
