Which is better? Harry Potter or Twilight?

Charles Receski here! I vote for Harry Potter hands down, J.K. Rowling's work has renewed public interest in magic and the supernatural world; I always loved magic stories that eschewed monotheistic dogmas condemning magic. Bella Swan is so bland that Alucard of Hellsing would sit in a catatonic state and mope for several hours if he drank some of her blood. "Hey Alucard, you want to... uhh sir?" Dracula: "urgh, I feel so depressed... my badass personality has been extinguished from an inferno to damp ashes". Few hours later... "Whoah! I just had a freaky dream of being emo, but I'm all better now!"

A. Nobody in twilight can ACT!! B. Harry potter is much more clever,original and thought-provoking than twilight which is lazy and rushed. C. The main characters in twilight make me want to PUNCH them they are so gay and corny while the Harry potter characters make me want to be them they are so unbelievably cool:)

Harry potter of course. Twilight is kinda boring.

Harry Potter just has more of a purpose. It was about friendship, bravery, courage, sorrow/remorse, a bit of romance, and stepping up when the odds are not in your favor. Harry Potter has more of a broader audience unlike Twilight which sticks to only 10-25 year olds. I watched Harry Potter when I was in preschool because that's how appropriate and good it was. Harry Potter is a classic while Twilight is just a best seller.

I'm not the best person to answer this because I'm a die hard Potterhead and I really don't know much about Twilight. I never really got into Twilight to be honest. Iv'e loved Harry Potter since I was 7 and the reason I started the series is because I knew how popular they were and I wanted to see what the big deal was and I feel in love with the series. I usually start liking things just because I want to see if they really are as great or as bad as people say they are. So that's why I decided to give Twilight a go. I really didn't want to read them that much because of what iv'e heard from a lot of people. Especially about vampires sparking...Anyway one of my best friends is a huge fan so she begged me to read them and I admit I was curious to see what was so great about them. I started reading the first one and I don't remember much about it because I read it a few years ago and haven't picked up a Twilight book since. All I remember is that I didn't have much of a opinion on it and I found it quite boring. I didn't even finish the whole thing. But then again that was about 2 years ago and I am a bigger reader than I was then. I honestly hated reading about 2 years ago so that might have been one reason I didn't like the. Now I finish about 2 or 3 books a week. I think i'll try to read the Twilight series again and see what I think about them this time around. I may like them more. But I don't think i'll ever like Twilight as much as Harry Potter.

Harry Potter. I think, because Harry Potter is an "adventure-kinda romantic story, with a few twists" and Twilight is fully "romance". I've never seen Twilight, so I'm not going to rant about it. But, I have to admit, looking at the Twilight trailers, I can tell that Harry Potter is way better :D Plus, WE WANT CEDRIC BACK!

Once upon a time there was a sparkling vampire who loved a stupid pale girl.
Harry potter thought that was stupid.
So he killed them.
And they all lived happily ever after. ( except the vampire and his dumb girlfriend)

That fact is out of date though. Breaking Dawn (Part 1) actually beat out the bottom four movies. It will be as will its sequel hard pressed to beat out the last four though.

twilight is just a bunch of pale people talking in monotones about how much they love each other. and they look constipated. Harry Potter is an epic series written by an epic author!

I like twilight but am starting to slip away from it as I think the sparkling is weird.....
And real vampires have fangs! It makes the hotter ;P

OH MY... GODRIC'S HOLLOW! Why would anyone like twilight more than Harry Potter? As you can see from my username, I am a HUGE Harry potter fan. Plus, Twilight only teaches you that it's important to have a boyfriend. Harry Potter teaches about good vs evil, how important love, friends and family is, and it tells everyone to believe in magic... The right kind. Not the kind with a world where there are vegetarian vampires who sparkle. You know, one girl in my class saw me reading Harry Potter, and she likes Twilight, so we kinda started arguing, and I couldn't refrain from saying "She likes the sparkly vampire and the gay Warewolf who fight over the ugly girl." Oops... I probably just offended a whole lot of Twilight lovers. Please don't hate me!

Harry Potter...Twilight is ok but its lacking something. The books were ok..but Harry potter was better!!
