I enjoy Musicals, as a child my mother took me to see Sound of Music, I loved every song in it........later in life after my mother had died, my father remarried a woman that had 4 children, on of my stepsisters saw the advertisement of the movie Sound of Music, since she had not been in our home long I asked her if she would like to go to the movies, I took her to see that movie. Years and years have passed and I don't see my Stepsister very often anymore but when I do she always reminds me of the time that I took her to the movies. Brings back GOOD TIMES!

I am glad they filmed Lilies of the Field in black and white. It was a little gem of a film, shot in a way that let you feel the wearying heat and taste the dust in your mouth.

can't remember the title of movie it is about Nuns and with lot of students of girls ride in bus for summer vacation..nun drove the bus and got flat tired and not working.. it was funny movie and nice at the end...movie were made in somewhere 1950 to 60's ...I try to find it on internet it doesn't seem to be found..hope y'all can tell me the title? thanks...

The Bells of St. Mary's

"The Bells of St. Mary's" Paramount - 1945. I love this movie - I like it better than "Going My Way" because I like the interaction between Bergman and Crosby. I always cry at the end of that movie when Father O'Malley tells Sister Mary Benedict the reason she is being sent away from St. Mary's.

"The Lillies of the Field" is my second favorite because like in both movies the nuns are determined to make their dreams come true.
