It is the only channel that even attempts to display multiple views of most issues (which, I think, is the real issue the left has with this channel).

I rarely watch unless it's something big happening. To me the news is just sad and heartbreaking.

Im not a one network person, they are all biased. Its important to understand where each is coming from to decipher the news. Anderson Cooper on CNN is pretty fair, he actually shuts up and lets others talk.

Wish there were an "all of the above" up there because I am actually a channel surfer. Most of the stuff is not news anymore like the paris hilton garbage but at least they usually let us know if any thing really important happened like if we have been attacked today or if a hurricane is coming. Well thats on the The Weather Channel not on the list above but most important for us who live on the Florida Coast during hurricane season.

Headline news, but only in the evening when Glenn Beck is on, because
he actually has discussions with people, not shouting matches, and he
is usually on the cutting edge when it comes to islamic extremism. I
watch fox and cnn by flipping back and forth so I can get the real news
    from the common facts.

I definitely try, more often than not I decide to speak my mind.

As a kid in one of my parents home you got a back-hand for any little thing much less having an opinion. The last 15 yrs or so back I made a conscious decision to use my freedom of speech extensively. Bashful, frightened, and apprehensive no more. I am liberated. lol
