The only people I ever let infront of me in a bathroom line is a kid. That's 'cause 1) they are cute, and 2) I don't want to stand in a puddle.

Been a long time since I was in a school lunch line. In those days there was always a teacher who loved sending the offender, the times it did happen, all the way to the back of the line.

I said the Post Office because that is where it has happened to me the most. I seem to be at my 'hurriest' there for some reason, and this is one place where with a time constraint regarding the mail truck we all have the same amount of time in a way...what's so important at the P.O. to cut in line. His or her business is going to go out the same time as yours or mine. If it is a money order or stamps...settle back and meditate in line like the rest of us.

It's annoying when folks do that, but sometimes if someone looks desperate, I let them go ahead.
Same way in the bathroom line-one day there was a desperate little kid in there with the mom and I had them go first.
Rude people who just cut in are awful.

Actually, all of the above. I really think it's rude to "cut" in front of people. Except when it's really necessary (really good reason) or They are extremely polite about it. I'm really a "push over" when someone nice and kind..

There is a certain Race of People that hates to have to Stand-Next-In-Line; even if the line is moving at a rather fast-pace; they somehow feel that "they are being owed" to take advantage of the Cut-In-Line, whenever the opportunity appears before them . . . And Yes! Yes! YES!!! Absolutely, you can paint with a broad brush in making such a statement . . . Yes, indeed.
