Where is the most annoying place for someone to cut in line?

Bathroom b/c could be an emergency, and also Buffet-or like lunch at school. Just wait in line like others, if they let ya, do so, if not, you'll live!

If someone has to go that could be a critical problem.

It's the time when you really should respect other people's needs. I would gladly let someone else in front of me if it was an emergency but other than that no.

I've never been cut in any of these places. Need more options, but my worse places are the bus (almost always Asian or Black people), a busy bar when I'm waiting to order a drink and the person behind me gets service first, and any theme park.

Actually any line will do for me.If they got some friend in front of me who lent their place no prob, but not push me and make as if I'm part of the air

On a level of "urgency" it is the bathroom that must be counted most annoying. But, on the other hand, if someone wants to cut in front of me, they usually ask first and their predicament is usually greater!

I've seen people try it many times. I always call them out. We all have some place to be. If you can do it now. Do it later.

Which is why it will not happen, it is too important a pit stop. Post Office would piss me off because I would want to start a brawl on Federal property.

Cutting in line in front of me was the cause of my first fight in school. A boy cut in front of me and because I hit him first, the teacher made me stand in the girls line. I was you and dumb then, now days, some one would get slugged every day to get me in the girls line.

Then there was this time in the Amsterdam Airport. This guy wanted to move toward the front of the mass of people. It wasn't really a line but I wasn't in any mood for it. So I took up enough space so he could not get by me. He said, "this is not really a line, it is more like a funnel". "You can funnel your heart out behind me", was my reply and he stayed back there.
For Disclosure: It was an American, so I was not the ill mannered American, though I doubt it would have made any difference.

Especially since I only go when I REALLY have to, or when I know I won't be near one for a while.

Because the line jumper's urgency is no greater than the patrons already standing in line waiting patiently to be checked out. The line jumpers already know what the deal is before entering or going to an establishment in which there may be "wait-time"
Another thing to ponder'
I disagree with the "self checkout lane" because the grocer or merchant; is causing me to work for them for free! That's the purpose of hiring checkout clerks.
Here's an idea to merchants with "self-checkout lanes" offer extra percentage off or extra bonus
discounts on already discounted items about to be purchased by consumers in the "self-checkout lanes only" and watch your business boom instantly increasing your profits.
It will be a tedious task in putting in extra codes in the system to distinguish a signed in clerk; from shopping consumers. 'Try It'

I think that should be punishable by the death penalty, esp at concerts

The only people I ever let infront of me in a bathroom line is a kid. That's 'cause 1) they are cute, and 2) I don't want to stand in a puddle.

I just know how urgent little kid "bathroom breaks" can be, it's only fair. They are young and they don't quite get the "go before ou want to wet yourself".

I have seen folks so rude that they jump the line in front of little kids. No you made my day; that there are kind people still in this world.

Is it just me or is every post office and dmv all black ladies? Not that its bad or anything.. just an observation :|

You're not wrong and could it be other men and women of other races don't want to be public servants at the post office; unless they own the "postal business independently"
Thank goodness there's job redistribution; where someone else won't work on a particular job' there are others that appreciate getting and having a job, so things work out.

WoW' I just wouldn't see it as being that important to fight over material things; even if I'm getting it for someone else. I would just leave when there's too much ado about nothing that important...'It's just me' but to each their own in dealing with certain situations and circumstances'
Bottom line...' rather than go through stressful obstacles in trying to find a perfect gift that you think would make someone happy. Get a medium size gift box and fill it with the cash you was going to spend for the present at the store, put a note in with the cash that says "ENJOY"

Here you cannot go wrong in giving cash, and just let them buy or use it whatever way they'd like.

should have been an other. i hate when im in line to ride a coaster and someone cuts in. they can get kicked out of cedar point for doing that!!! most of the time i have no problem at stores and buffets.

If I am having an emergency of being ill, etc., I'll explain to anyone waiting and ask if I could possibly get ahead. If they say no, that's it. But once in awhile you get those who are too down right rude. And little kids left alone who lock the doors and crawl out under them I want to strangle the parent!!

Anywhere, really. Especially the ones that cut and then turn and say "I hope you don't mind" or some such AFTER the fact.

The worst part of the bathroom is that there is a timer running out there. I did once pay someone back by "cutting" in front of them. When the door opened, I pushed my way past the same way he'd already done to me.

Party Pooper' but fair is fair; you don't want anyone jumping you in line; dude think about it, you knew it was going to be a line. So you make adjustments; "Bring your own food" or be patient like everyone else.

I actually dont mind if someone cuts me and no one complains. I mean come on we're not little kids anymore.
