Where is the best place to find a husband?

Be careful though. Church, church related activities are other good places. A bar or work are the worst.

I had to leave the country to find someone. I predict this sort of thing will increase in the near future.

I think there should be more options ! By looking on options above it looks like the author of this poll does only four things: work, going out, browsing internet and weddings. Is that it ? ;)

There is usually at least one of them there already, or soon will be.

Workplace should be the ideal place. But that don't work most of the time due to office politics and tension. A woman should diversify her search strategies. in order to be able to have many prospective good husbands to chose from.

There was a time when parents would play matchmakers for their sons & daughters. That tradition still exist in some countries. It's interesting that those countries have exceptionally low divorce rates. (Maybe it is because parents know best.)


Work: Too risky. Women sue for sexual harassment if they're not interested. Hence, a promising career could be flushed away.


Website: Lot's of games played, and way too many disingenuous people. Men tend to be after the one-night stand, and the women tend to have standards so (ridiculously) high that average guys don't stand a chance of winning their hearts.


Wedding: This is a viable option. Everyone is in a romantic mood. Everyone ponders the day when they will be playing the role of bride or groom.


Bar: They don't call them meat markets for nothing! One-night stands are the rule, not the exception. Still, bars are probably the easiest places to find someone. However, the fact that the person is at a bar is reason enough to proceed with caution. Use protection because it is sort of like eating fish that has been caught at a waste treatment facility.


I think churches and other religious places are the best places to find a husband or wife. Their members are more-than-willing to play match maker after you drop a few hints that you're single and looking.

Probably someone within your group of mutual friends. I'm not that big on any of these places though, they could all be place to potentially meet someone.

At least you know he has a job!
