Wow, I have a feeling I speak for more than just myself when I say, "they didn't have those things when I was younger!" Disney was just on Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m. and they were family movies not cartoons.....oh the good ole days.

cbbc 1 i didn't get cable TV til i was 12 but i survived all kids nowadays ca't survive without cable it's sad really cuz dats y obesity is goin up

WPIX channel 11 in NY. I didn't live in NY but my cable picked up that station. In the early 80's it had a freaking awesome anime line-up. Grandizer, Gatchaman, Gai King, Space Battleship Yamato... etc. That era and genre of 2nd wave anime. I'd kill to have that lineup back on today.

back in my days, didn't have cable. it was only 5 channel on it. during the week Tom & Jerry and on weekends Popeyes,Bunny,more like disney channels.

I watched Rocky and Bullwinkle, but I can't remember where it was I watched that stuff. When I was older I watched YTV, though, 'cause I'm Canadian ^-^

Though they're not cartoons, I also watched Leave it to Beaver and the Dick van Dike show...

Once Nickelodeons came out, I watched that. When I was little we had to get up early on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons.

I didn't get cable until I was older though because the farm I lived on was so far away from the main "cable lines" and my dad was too cheap to get it. I used to watch Nickelodeon's fine shows at my friend's house like:
