I've always liked 2 in particular, Jungle Book, and Dumbo! The music and story were from a different era and was much more enjoyable than the crap Disney did in later years.

Mulan

I loved how she didn't need a man to save her. I also loved her courage in dressing up as a male to go to war in her fathers place. Plus she has a lucky cricket and a dragon! Automatic win! Especially when you throw in the horse with the attitude!
