Sex Pistols.
Anarchy in the UK, EMI, God Save the Queen....absolutely the life these guys lived without apology while picking their noses."No future" for me,you, us .Anything else you want dealt with?The times were a nightmarish caricature AND ANTITHESIS to the Summer of Love replete with chaos for breakfast and dislexsic "cheerios, mate" for lunch with paper plates of bloody noodles for dindin. A culture of lost and hateful kids worse than The Great Gatsby's timeless tweentime...but the greatest music for not caring ever.

I was into punk for a very short time. My favorite was the Dead Kennedys, only because a friend was really into them. He listened to The Exploited and Blag Flag as well, so when we took his car to parties, that's what we listened to. I was more into thrash metal, and many thrash bands were punk-like anyways, the only difference musically was the hair.

When I feel like screaming or having a fit I usually put on Nirvana, Alice in Chains, or Tiger Army. I m not positive Blondie is punk but I dig them.
