okay buddy, first of all, i didn't even watch the video i just put it up because of the song. I never advocate war. And second of all my ancestors came from armenia and were kicked out of their country by the Turks during the genocide so i'm not apart of that "sick and poor huddle masses" I just put up this video because i like the song and I'm not looking for a fight. So if you have a problem with that then i'm sorry

I apologise if i seemed finicky. But it really annoys me when Americans constantly go on and on about how f**king amazing they are. So i would like to apologise to you. But not to anyone else who sees my comment.

It's got to be either Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" or Neil Diamond's America.

This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land by Woody Guthrie

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me

As I was walking a ribbon of highway
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley
This land was made for you and me

    Chorus

I've roamed and rambled and I've followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me

    Chorus

The sun comes shining as I was strolling
The wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
The fog was lifting a voice come chanting
This land was made for you and me

    Chorus

As I was walkin' - I saw a sign there
And that sign said - no tress passin'
But on the other side .... it didn't say nothin!
Now that side was made for you and me!

    Chorus

In the squares of the city - In the shadow of the steeple
Near the relief office - I see my people
And some are grumblin' and some are wonderin'
If this land's still made for you and me.

You should know that this is a communist-sympathizer song that was written by someone who wanted communism.

This is a song written by a man I knew loved this country. He was pro-union, he was pro-freedom, and in his lifelong search for betterment of this nation - yes, he entertained communism. He was born a farmer's son, and grew up hardscrabble. He traveled this entire country and tried to speak for the common man, or as we call it today, the 99%. If all you see in this man's life is that one thing, without listening to what it is he had to say..than I feel terribly sad for you.
