I don't have any siblings,so when I rode in the back when I was little, me and my best friend (he still is my best friend xD) used to play this. But we made up a different version of it :)

Me and my friend Tyler do it differently. We say what make of car we see and sock each other in the arm. It left me sore the next weekend.

Well one is professor cat but my favourite is when everyone picks a car from on the road and whoever car stays with the car we're traveling in the longest wins. We never gave it a name.

None of the above, but I guess this is the closest.

We would always play a game we made up (which didn't have a name because we are not that creative) in which you would look at the number plate of a car ahead of you and try to think of a word that uses all 3 letters in the order shown (i.e AVY would be Aviary), a sometimes tricky but always fun game, we would also play "times-divided by" which was the 3 numbers on the number plate the first one times the second divided by the third, the first in the car to come up with the answer wins.

I spy is dumb.

"Letters" is better.

You have to find a sign or anything on any object that starts with the letter "A". Once you call it, it's yours, and no one else can use it. Then you look for a B, then a C, and so on until Z.

Your opponents try to get the letter to the end before you do.

We've done it in the U.S. with the latin alphabet, and we've done it in Israel with the Hebrew alphabet (aleph, bet, gimmel, etc.). It works both ways.

When going on school trips we always ended up singing "99 bottles of beer" we'd get to somewhere, have a break and forget where we were up to, so we'd start again. It never got tiring.

actually it's the alphabet game...you call out a letter sarting at A and ending at Z and you can only use a letter once and you have to call were you see it so no one else can use that letter. who ever gets to Z first wins

I loved playing I spy with my girls when they were little. They loved it. As a side note: Many years ago as a young teenager I was riding to a hunting trip with my twin uncle's Bill and Bob(Harold and Gerald were the other pair of twins in my dad's family) on either side of me in the backseat of our station wagon and suddenly, Bill yelled out; "Right Ball", Bob followed with "Left Ball", then they both yelled "let's beat the snot out of the prick in the middle!"

Man, they acted like a bunch of drunk frat boys. Good fun though!

I have no clue what is called but you say a famous persons name and the next person have to say a name that starts with the first letter of the last name. Like Martin Short then Samuel L Jackson. Its fun
