    It would have to be the first song I heard, I want to hold your hand. I was stationed on Midway Island in the North Pacific and isolated from outside music (before satellites) Upon returning Stateside I heard the Beatles for the first time. I asked who is singing this song and someone said "where have you been, on a desert island?". Well, yes.

    All their songs are my favorite but I'm really enjoying the entire Rubber Soul cd, lately. I've been listening to it each night while I cook and eat dinner for the past few weeks. This song in particular has been sticking in my mind.
