External factors consisting of people whose lives mimic and interject a scripted over melodramatic reality into my life. I avoid television productions of this kind because its a waste of time and try to avoid people like this for the same reason.

What stupid options. The least you could do is provide an "other" option. The obstacle to anyone's inner peace, unless the person lives in a war zone, is that person's own mind.

My kids! Even as adults, they stress me out! I guess as long as I'm a Mom I'll never have "inner peace". But they are worth every single gray hair I have! i love my adult kids

No one is making what they are worth, or what it takes to live a stress free life. Well, except the minority 1, 2, and 4 percenters.

PS. Plus reality T.V., and T.V. period plays a role in it too. In fact even T.V. commercials play a role. Everyone on the screen lives middle class, or better. Even back as far as the old 50's T.V. family shows. Which makes normal people strive every day of their lives (especially nowadays,) to live like those invented persons in the reality shows.

The fact that my share of the national debt has doubled in the last few years to over $50,000 and inflation is eroding my nest egg faster than I can add to it.

Actually every choice on here represents some kind of stress. Except reality TV which is just stupid. Feels like stress is pumped into us on a daily basis. It's in the news, on the road, at work, at home, in the food we eat. Stress, stress, stress..
