I mostly listen to Pandora Radio and my favorite "station" to work to is my "Muse" station. I get quite an eclectic selection of music from Muse, to Radio Head, to the Beatles, to some electro. Love it!

:) Anime music is very good. Do you like Blood Plus? It has a KILLER soundtrack.
You should really look into Shonen Knife. They're a super good, SUPER CUTE band.

Lol, yeah I love the Blood Plus soundtrack. I never got around to watching the actual anime although my sister keeps begging me to xD.

Ahhh You HAVE to watch Blood Plus! One of my most favorite anime's of all time.
Anyway, yeah Shonen is spectacular! And they just keep on coming out with albums. The link I sent you was from the late 80's and they came out with a new album a few weeks ago actually!

I came of age int eh 80's when heavy metal and hard rock really took off. I fell in love with it and I never grew out of it. Back in the 80's I absolutely loved Van Halen (still have a soft spot for them), but now Metallica is far and away my favorite band.

That either makes me very cool or Metallica very uncool !

I saw Metallica at The Monsters Of Rock Tour in the early 90's with GNR and Faith No More. What an amazing show. Metallica hypnotized the entire audience. James Hetfield would sing "AM I EVIL?" and 80 thousand people would sing back "YES I AM".

It was a tuff crowd. If the airforce bombed Giant Stadium that night it would have cut the tri state crime rate by about 90%

LOL! I bet it was a tough crowd with that lineup. I also saw Metallica in the Monsters of Rock tour in the mid-80's. The lineup was Metallica, Dokken, Def Leppard, and the headliner Van Halen. It was very early in their career and I didn't appreciate them at all. I was there for Van Halen. Had I known then what I know now, I wouldn't have gone to the concession stands and the ladies room during their performance!

I would have loved to have seen that legendary show. I loved Dokken, VH and def lep too!! I actually have the tape VH2 in my cassette deck of my truck right now.

Did you see taylor Swift get awards for the concert with Def Lep? They were talking about how great she was. If you watch it on youtube you will see that she couldn't sing def lep but Def Lep could certainly do her music. They made it better. I have nothing against Swift but Damn Def Lep is still awesome. Or what do 80's kids like us say? They WHALE!

They whale...LOL...I haven't heard that in years!! And no I didn't see that Def Leppard/Swift video but I will check it out on You Tube.

I also got a laugh out of the words "cassette deck". Haven't heard those words in years either. I'd re-live the 80's in a second.

I agree somewhat, but I recently discovered a tune by a band of which I had never heard. Teenagers by Chemical Romance. You don't automatically have to be a raddish to listen to rock.

I agree 150% ! I know everyone thinks if you live in Texas, you ride horses, chew tobacco, drink Beer, and listen to Country " My Wife took All My Beer And The Dog and Left me.
