Gavin Rossdale, lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the '90s alternative rock band Bush, recently admitted that rumors about a homosexual encounter with cross-dressing pop singer Marilyn were true, but Rossdale immediately regretted the confession.

Rossdale told Details magazine, "It's not something I've talked about really because it's always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It's just one of those things: Move on. When you're 17, Jesus Christ. I don't think there's anything strange about any form of -- you're learning about life. It's a part of growing up. That's it. No more, no less."

However, All Headline News reports that Rossdale "begged the editors of Details ... not to publish his confession." The reason behind his regret is in part because he told his wife, pop star Gwen Stefani, with whom he has two kids, that the rumors were false.

Marilyn, on the other hand, was happy to hear that Rossdale had finally admitted to the affair. He told InTouch, "I am pleased that Gavin is finally able to be honest about our relationship. I just wish he could have come to terms with this 15 years ago."

Marilyn also noted that the two, "were together five years ... but it felt like 40." Rossdale had previously feared that the news would ruin his career.

I wouldn't do anything. I'll be alright with it. I can't judge anyways, I've had lesbian flings in the past and will in the future(Not while I'm in a relationship).

I am bisexual myself. I tend to go for guys who are either bisexual, or have the curiousity. So it wouldn't surprise me.

People experiment when they're young. I had a lesbian episode one night when I was 17. My hubby knows and he doesn't care. If he had done the same, I wouldn't care at all. You're not you yet when you're only 17

I don't see what's the issue here lol, it was a relationship he had in the past and he moved on, it's not like he was cheating on Gwen, and she doesn't strike me as a prude, so he probably shouldn't have lied about it anyway lol

Well, I'm a Christian, and yes, I don't agree with homosexuality. It would sicken me to think my husband had a gay affair, even if it was years and years ago. I just don't know if I could handle that.

maybe i should try this more often, its alot easier to make arguments based on something i know nothing about then to do all that pesky research and "getting-to-know" people! I see why you do it so freely
