What would be an appropriate punishment to give Melky Cabrera for organizing a campaign to avoid his 50-game suspension?

At the very least, double the suspension.

This might even warrant being banned from baseball. That's probably what it will take for baseball to rid itself of all this PED crap.

Ban one of these drug cheats from the game for life, and it's a sure bet that you'll never see this problem ever again.

Why? This guy is a drug cheat, who then cooked up a fake website scheme to make himself look innocent after he already got busted.

The fact that anyone still "loves" this guy is yet another example of how far America's standards have sunk.

Not a bad idea. Maybe one of these days, people who do things like this over a long period of time will be banned from the game.
