I actually have a better relationship with my parents now that i've moved away, and since i'm living on my own i have more 'chores'....I didn't even know there was a curfew in my town until my parents told me after i had been out till 4:30 shooting fireworks one night.

There should have been an "Other" option. I spent my high school years pushed around by and stepped on by the same students teachers adored, because my GPA wasn't high enough to be considered smart, and everyone felt like they had to belong to a clique. There was no room for truly independent thought among the youth despite the relative lack of classroom discipline. College isn't always much better, but it is an improvement.

Really, I'm happiest to have left behind peers.

Best decision I ever made. They really were holding me back. While it did take me quite some time to get on my feet, i feel I'm better, stronger person because of it.

I mean, I'd probably never done much traveling or experienced as much life as i did, had i not left home.

I absolutely loved high school and was disappointed when it ended. I didn't mind any of the things listed, I love my parents, didn't mind hard work, and my parents didn't impose a curfew on me, they didn't have to, because I didn't want to miss school.

I loved High School and had a blast...except that damn curfew!!! Thank god we had a ranch style home and windows were close to the ground. lol

No one likes chores, but honestly after high school chores only increase. I didn't care about having a curfew and I did miss my parents when I left. Answer: none of the above.

I quit school because my parents kept telling me if "ignored" the bullies they would quit well guess what they didn't and it went on in high school where it got worse so I quit and went to live with my sister, met my first husband had two children got my GED then went on to college after I was divorced
I don't recomend doing it like I did do your best graduate get a collage or one of these trade schools or into the medical field like a pharmacest

MY Parents were elderly and in ill health ..
my father was a WWII Paraplegic Veteran ..
I graduated early ..
was glad to LEAVE HIGH SCHOOL Behind ..
and was already out on my own ..

OMG, I wouldn't relive my youth if the governent was paying me to. High school sucked, middle school was even worse. I didn't discover I was actually smart until I went to college.and I couldn't wait to get away from my insane mother.
