I believe it was the Doors first Album. I had the Album since I was about 8 years old, so as soon as it was avalible on CD I bought both the player and the CD. I think that was in 1984. I also bought the first Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and Rolling Stones Out of Our Heads. 1984 zeppelin pink floyds dark moon rolling stones heads Doors first album

Honestly, it was Weird Al's "Straight Outta Lynwood". I got most of the albums I wanted from my parents for Christmas and my birthday, and when SOL came out, I was old enough that I was finally getting into music that *wasn't* on the radio/popular (although they did play White and Nerdy).

Nowadays most of the stuff I listen to can't even be bought on CD, let alone in stores.

I'll cut you some slack on the Diamond because he's such a great songwriter, plus, you balanced it out nicely with Heart.

A Difficult Question! I actually bought two CDs at the same time. I am going to go back to my files, search through my box of receipts, and see which one is first on the invoice. I will get back to you in a few days. However, it was either Beach Boys or Blondie.
