This was the top money maker. But many near and dear flicks were released in 1982. Prodding my memory at IMDB, I see many of the films that made me a celluloid addict: Sophie's Choice, Shoot the Moon, Personal Best, Eating Raoul, The Atomic Cafe, An Officer and a Gentleman... and so many. Why did you not include the highly awarded Sophie's Choice? They made many good movies that year.
