I like ET I remember my mom bought the movie and showed it to me. I'm pretty sure it was one of the earlier movies I ever remember seeing other than Toy Story 2.

I played it for my son on Netflix and he wanted to go see it in the theater. I had a hard time explaining that it hadn't been in theaters for a long time. (I know, there's the occasional re-release in theaters, but it's not all that often. If it happens close enough, I'll take my boy so he can watch it "properly".)
I've always been a huge "movie geek" so when I see a movie, I try to find out all the obscure "behind the scenes" crap that goes with it. *grins*
Two others from the summer of '82 ... Annie and Friday the 13 Part III (the first appearance of the mask?)
Pink Floyd The Wall...
And Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan... *raises a fist in ire* "KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!"
By the way, did you know that Starships are all upholstered in "rich Corinthian leather?"
First time I saw the wall I was actually on acid,(shh don't tell anybody) changed my life. I'll never look at worms or brains the same again.
