Vampire Diaries

But if you are looking for a real romance vampire novel I suggest Boys that Bite by Mari Mancusi. Their relationship grows unlike in others when they just suddenly become obsessed with each other.

I dont really know because the only one of those that i have read was Twilight and it was horrible! But, i really want to read blue bloods and i know its in my moms bookstore :) but im not really into vampires i also prefer wizards

Vampire Academy

Vampire Academy is a wonderful series. The other vampire series/books I've read Vampire Kisses, the first 3 volumes of Vampire Knight, Night World, Twilight, the first book of the Chronicles of Vladimir Todd, and seen the movie to Interview With The Vampire. Vampire Academy is without a doubt my favorite out of these, heck, it's my 2nd favorite series. Definitely a good read. Can't wait until the 4th book comes out!

And Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about fairies masquerading as vampires.

I've just started another series of good vampire novels, can't remember the name, the vamp is the bastard son of Henry the 8th. I've read one book so far, so far so good.

vampire knight was cool and just to be anal cause I can, twilight has fairies and shape-shifters not Vampires and Werewolves, now you can smack me down all you want, but it's true, nothing about twilight has anything even correctly connecting to being a vampire, has to be human blood which grants powers and everlasting youth, has to be hurt or weakened in the sun, Not Sparkle, also another tid bit animal blood hurts and weakens vampires, IF stated somewhere in the book that something HAPPENED, that made the Cullen 'vampires' this way from real vampires then I would say, ok its a vampire novel, otherwise NAH, same goes for the werewolves at that.

I've got to say that Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles is in my opinion the best vampire series, though I'm also a fan of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series, Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series, Hidyuki Kikuchi's Vampire Hunter D novels, and Barb and JC Hendee's Noble Dead sagas.

Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, Christine Feehan's Dark Series, JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed and Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark Series.

I also enjoy Kim Harrison's Hollow's series but it's not strictly vamp.

Of course these are more adult books.
