Not enough voters, including many who wrote to The Los Angeles Times this week, bought the slogan on Mitt Romney's podium, which read "Real Change." Do you think Governor Romney lost because of a lack of specifics or because he was too conservative?

He lost because, he seemed like a douche. His VP was a woman hater. He lied constantly changing his mind to suit the situation.

Lol. Twas both. But ive answered this already and had plenty exchanges of comments from others. Which i why i answer again...
    I must say this...
DEB IS A COWARD. she blocked me cause i had proof that most of our military abroad WERE NOT CHEATED out of a chance to casg their vote.
I presented evidence of such and instead of finding ANY REAL evidence to dispute my proof, she blocked me.
I thought we were on Sodahead to discuss the topics presented.
I guess her purpose was just to repeat falsities and misinformation.
    Her loss. Lol

When he was asked to show or talk specifics about a plan he would just say this is my idea and when I am elected we will plan it out. Not very bright if you ask me. The people want to know exactly what you have laid out or you are not going to win.

We have had 12 years of some of the worst times since the depression and we are looking for a way out. If you say you have an idea the people want to know the details.

Actually, I would say it was a combination of both, as well as consistent lying, mudslinging, avoiding the press, flip-flopping, pandering, and touring the world for campaign donors.

Come on. Recycling trickle down economics for the 10th time? No sale. The entire platform was stale, moldy, and most of all: BORING. The right-wingers are going extinct. Just check the demographics and do the math. (The Tea Party/Paul Ryan sure as hell didn't help him, either.)

Really? REALLY?! The Obama campaign spent months framing Romney as a clueless, elitist, Plutocrat which ALL you Repubs tried to kneejerkedly deny but in the immediate aftermath of the 2012 Repub disaster, now it's your guys who are confirming what the Dems asserted! That you can't win elections by insulting nearly half of US voters (clueless), pandering to the rich with tax cuts on capital gains and income (elitist and Plutocratic). So a week before the elections those allegations weren't true but after a desultory 3 way loss now his own party's admitting it! Jindal, Newt, Lindsay Graham, George Will ad nauseum. It's rare when your opponents agree with your criticism of THEIR guy proving incontrovertibly that there is a God. LOL!!!!!!

Can't deny it when your own party members including Newt of all people slam you like a WWE wrestler. Even Newt called him nuts when Mitt claim he lost because Obama lavished the people with gifts.
Didn't Mitt basically want to do this for the rich???

His massive EGO! His belief that he was ENTITLED to be president. His ultimate STUPIDITY. His UNLIKEABLE personality. His lack of a MORAL compass. That's enough for now, there are more, but he lost, so ITS ALL GOOD!

    Exactly! And add to that:

He did not possess the ability to run the country in any way, is juvenile and a sociopath. And you are right.. he lost.. something else to be grateful for.

And by "too conservative," that means he was a hateful, uncaring, selfish,soul-less zombie.

He was entirely lacking in character, candor, integrity or any sense of responsibility. And he was totally out of touch with reality.

In other words -- he was just your typical Republican.

It can't have been too conservative, because he was only conservative when he needed to be. Its a shame, as I agreed with some of his criticisms and proposals, but I could be sure that he would actually stick to them in future policy statements. Plus, he never gave the details that Obama did, which is silly, if you hope to hold the highest office in the land.

He thinks he knows what a woman should do with her body- some examples; he thinks a woman shouldn't wear a tampon during a period, he thinks that even a child from a rape shouldn't be aborted (every child is a gift from 'God') I don't believe in god but I think IF there was a god, he wouldn't want such a thing. Every woman should have control of her OWN body!
He would take every gay marriage away.... JUST what is going in his mind? The over-religious freak. Shall I go on?................... ^.^

There were many reasons why Romney lost and they weren't all because of "lack of specifics". "I don't care about the poor", "I will defund Planned Parenthood", "Corporations are people too", "repeal of health care", and the most famous of all....."47%" You add to that flip-flopping, and showing he has no core values or standards, revising history and not having a clue of the struggles and worries of Main Street and viola, you have a failed candidate.

That's as convenient an excuse as any but with the swing states in the hands of Republican governors who control the election processing, I'm sure if they had any shred of evidence they'd have acted on it.

In some states the totals weren't even close. Differences in the tens of thousands. One state had something like 200,000 votes more for Obama. I forget which one. You can't just fraud your way into numbers that high.

You can't just fraud your way into numbers that high.------ we cannot - but you can. Remember your 0 and the zombies chanting "yeas we can"? - that was about your mass fraud. And the only reason you needed the ID laws struck was to allow your multiple deceptions.
