    Unlike the rest of the world, Americans speak English only. I don't know what's wrong with our system of teaching other languages but I took French for at least 5 or 6 years in school and can barely speak it at all now. As America becomes more diverse, you'll find a lot more people speaking Spanish or Portugeuse with English as a second language..

    That's just because it's what I read, write and speak. I can speak a bit of Spanish and Chinese as well.....

    I also speak French fluently, have a decent level of German and some knowledge of Spanish. But I guess I prefer English, I find it a more laid back and emotional language.

    It's Bahasa Melayu. I'm from Malaysia. But I also speak Chinese and am now learning Spanish as I'm doing my exchange year in Argentina.

    this my language but i do speak French, Chinese and a bit of Spanish but i suck at languages so i prefer my own language but then again that is me kinda being lazy but i dont care

    I prefer english but speak French fairly well and am working on Chinese Mandarin.
    Of course since I was in the militaty I can cuss you out in 5 languages. :}

    I also understand German quite well, but I've always liked English better. I think they should teach English as a second language in every country that doesn't teach it as a first language already.
