For most of us, music has become a very important aspect of our lives. I think one major reason for this, at least in part, is because we relate to the messages we find in the music we love most. I also feel that is why many people tend to cling to the music they enjoyed during their teens and early twenties, arguably the most emotionally volatile time of our lives.
For myself, I often feel as if the music I listen too would play great as a sort of soundtrack for my life. Depending on what is going on in my life, my soundtrack may be joyous, melancholy, and/or introspective.
Right now in my life, this song, "Deacon Blues", by Steely Dan, best fits my own life...
