There's something very romantic about the feeling of thin sheets of paper on your fingers, the typical smell of material books... It's just perfect.

There just isn't anything that can replace the feel of holding a book, and turning it's pages.

It just doesn't feel like a book unless it's actually a book.

I bought myself a Nook, but I only use it to play silly games, I can't stand to read a book on it, LOL I am just an old fashioned reader I guess, I enjoy either hard or soft cover and I'm a big fan of James Patterson and John Grisham. My goal for this year it to read the Bible, something I've never accomplished. I'm getting one that is set to get you through it in one year, should be a do-able goal. If I keep it in the bathroom, I will succeed, LOLOL

Have you ever smelled a book before? If you've ever smelled a book before, you'll agree.

Cuddle up under a blanket on a cold winter day, drink a cup of hot chocolate, while reading a good book.

I have to have the actual living proof in front of my eyes or else I'd flip out.
I hate relying on internet connection read something. I'd rather have the copy of the book to read it whenever I want, instead of being dependent on the Wi-Fi, which can't always be promising u_u Learned my lesson when my town got effects from a hurricane, with the winds blowing down trees that knocked down electrical outages all through my city. Had no electricity for almost a week. HORRIBLE.

I have a Kendal that has several novels and financial books in storage. Use this for travel or if I am away from home. At home I prefer the old fashion paperback or hardcover book. Like the touch, feel and heft of a book, especially when reading in bed.

A book is a book and that's how it should be read. Enought of these tablets and smartphones. I'm 28 and I didn't even get a cell phone until 2008 when I was 24. I did just fine all the time before that.

I've got a Kindle and I love it, it's enabled me to read more books and find new authors than I've done in years.

However there is nothing like a real, dead tree book... and I've also never had the battery run down on a real book!

i personally think this new way on a device is crewd and horrid, book lovers will know what i mean, you enter the bookstore, the smell of new paper and when you put your hand on that new book and take it off the shelf it's something special you can't quite put into word or context, its an experience in its own
  • TXredhead 2012/12/29 18:31:46
