There were several favorites of mine that are on this list - Empires Strikes Back, Back to the Future, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Raiders defined a whole new phase in my childhood the same was Star Wars did - so it gets my vote!

    Raiders of the Lost Ark

That's always been one of my favorites. A lot of horror movies from that era are very poorly done, with far too many special effects, but this one was done very well. One time it was on in the student lounge at school, and when the bathroom scene came on, the two [extremely innocent] girls who were watching it shouted, "I SWEAR WE'RE NOT WATCHING PORN!"
