Steve Jobs didn't create the iPod by himself, but the
late CEO of Apple was the driving force behind that and every other iProduct to date. In fact, even after his death, it's going to be tough to separate future Apple innovations from Jobs' vision. When iCars are on every freeway, people will thank Steve Jobs. When iHouses dominate the real estate market, you'll be reminded of Jobs.
Like his contemporary, Bill Gates, Jobs provided his company with the theoretical groundwork for its forward-thinking technology, directed the company's image, and fueled Apple's passion for a brighter future. Unlike Gates, he did it with an eye for aesthetics and simplicity, and made Apple something of a trend-setter for younger generations.
Jobs co-founded Apple Inc. in 1976 with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, where he worked on the development of the Macintosh computer until a power struggle convinced him to resign in 1985. It wasn't until the near-demise of Apple in 1994, and subsequent re-hiring of Jobs, that the company began to recognize the value of his leadership.
Since then, Apple has been coasting to the top on Jobs' ideas with style. The 1998 iMac, designed by Jonathan Ive, was his first post-resignation break-through. The Mac OS X and the iPod (also designed by Ives) followed in 2001, the iPhone in 2007, and the
iPad in 2010.

Steve, you're the man. And a Pisces sun and moon as I found out! Well hey there brethren! You are missed.
So let's see, buy something Apple makes and not what I want for $2500 or more; OR build my own to spec and get what I want... I think it's clear who the winner is.
by the way someone made a virus for a mac and it was shut down instantly, the more popular apple becomes the time will come that it will be destroyed and all you little apple junkies will freak out...
I don't remember who said this but.....
"10 years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope, and Johnny Cash - Now we have no Jobs, no Hope, and no Cash."
