What is your favorite song from your childhood decade?

For instance, I was born in 1974, but my childhood musical years most memorable were in the 80's. I have many faves but one that sticks out as a fave when I was a kid was this one:

Puff, the magic dragon. Of course, I didn't know at the time that the song was about smoking pot! I still like it.

I was born in 70 so I grew up listening to everything from the 50's up and in many different genres. I can't figure that one song that would be my favorite.

I loved to swing in my backyard and listen to music and sing along. I mostly remember songs by Dionne Warwick..

I was born in '74 also. I had older brothers who introduced me to very good music nice and early in life. One thing that has always stuck out to me is when "The Wall" came out. 2 of my brothers were crazy Floyd fans and I must admit, this has been on of the few things I ever call an absolute favourite of mine.

Born in 70... Too many good songs from then to early 80's for me to chose only one... You're torturing me JP!! lol

But there are a few that litteraly bring me back to my childhood years, that bring back the smells, the mindset, the moods... I'd say these two do the trick...

And a special note for this one (my mom played it all the time!! lol and it's in french) ;o)

For me, my childhood was the 60's. I was all about the Beatles. It's hard for me to pick a favorite Beatles song. Right now, I'd say "Within You and Without You", a Harrison masterpiece from Sgt. Pepper. But it changes all the time.
