    For me, being an 80's baby, its a toss up between Flashdance, Footloose and Dirty Dancing.

    I haven't seen any of these. I've seen bits of Strictly Ballroom and it was quite good. I love Billy Elliot (although I haven't seen the film, just the musical on Broadway) ...

    Saturday Night Fever!

    So many of the Bee Gees songs were Top Ten radio hits and that pretty much propelled the rest of John Travolta's film career!

    opps I didn't see Save the Last Dance down there I like Julia Styles. I enjoy the Mambo, America, and Cool scenes from West Side Story as well

    Okay, but I wouldn't classify High School Musical as a dance themed movie. It's a musical, as the title suggests. A dance themed movie, has the plot revolve around dance. Not just dancing in it.

    This one,then theres one with Antonio Banderas.He plays a Substitute tacher in New York and teaches a class of delinquents how to Ball room dance.Preety good....just can't remember the name.

    Hard choices, I gotta say for the movies I can remember at the top of my head Footloose, Dirty Dancing, and Grease were my tops.

    I'd say "Singin' in the Rain" as well as "Mary Poppins" because of Dick van Dyke dancing on rooftops. He was sensational singing Step In TIME.

    Am still a huge fan of Patrick Swazye. The script, music, and dancing were all excellent in this movie. An excellent "coming of age" movie.
