Summer is supposed to be a time for blockbuster movies, music festivals, and classic albums. But often, summer comes with its own set of... unmentionables. Yahoo! put together a terrifying list of summer one-hit wonders -- songs that took over for a season, then fell with the autumn leaves and crumbled under Father Time's heavy feet. Does "Macarena" ring a bell? Then you know where this is going.

We kind of hate to bring it up, but one of the best examples of a summer one-hit wonder on Yahoo's list is "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by Baha Men. Did anyone actually like that song, or was it just an unfortunate fad tied to an unbearably catchy tagline? Mysteriously absent from Yahoo's list is "MMBbop" by Hanson," who, believe it or not, still make music for a devoted (if miniscule) fan base. It just seems like music doesn't have a meaning these days..Lyrics use to be meaningful.The artist's- had an talent.The band could play and song were good, made a crown feel thier struggles or goodness...I'm just saying..where are the real Artist gone to?..Even the radio stations, play same old borning songs..So many good talent is out there but record companies are ???????.

It's only the bands that stood the test of time that we still hear of today, there has always been alot of bad music, you just have to listen out for the good (it is almost never on the pop radio stations) there is plenty of good music around now.

I went to a heavy football oriented college and our mascot was the bulldog. They played this song all the time. So obnoxious and irritating after more than a couple of times (if that).

WOW ! They are all pretty bad but I read somewhere that they got the best results at Gitmo when they played Macarena in the background !! It was later found to be ruled against the Geneva convention as a crime against humanity !!!
