Summer is supposed to be a time for blockbuster movies, music festivals, and classic albums. But often, summer comes with its own set of... unmentionables. Yahoo! put together a terrifying list of summer one-hit wonders -- songs that took over for a season, then fell with the autumn leaves and crumbled under Father Time's heavy feet. Does "Macarena" ring a bell? Then you know where this is going.
We kind of hate to bring it up, but one of the best examples of a summer one-hit wonder on Yahoo's list is "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by Baha Men. Did anyone actually like that song, or was it just an unfortunate fad tied to an unbearably catchy tagline? Mysteriously absent from Yahoo's list is "MMBbop" by Hanson," who, believe it or not, still make music for a devoted (if miniscule) fan base.
