What Is the Worst Summer One-Hit Wonder?

Summer is supposed to be a time for blockbuster movies, music festivals, and classic albums. But often, summer comes with its own set of... unmentionables. Yahoo! put together a terrifying list of summer one-hit wonders -- songs that took over for a season, then fell with the autumn leaves and crumbled under Father Time's heavy feet. Does "Macarena" ring a bell? Then you know where this is going.

We kind of hate to bring it up, but one of the best examples of a summer one-hit wonder on Yahoo's list is "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by Baha Men. Did anyone actually like that song, or was it just an unfortunate fad tied to an unbearably catchy tagline? Mysteriously absent from Yahoo's list is "MMBbop" by Hanson," who, believe it or not, still make music for a devoted (if miniscule) fan base. Let us know what you think the worst summer one-hit wonder was!

I have NEVER liked this song. Hated it when it came out, hated it when it stuck around, and hated it whenever it has turned up since then.

Please, don't even mention this trash anymore. Don't subject the world and future generations to this garbage. LET IT DIE. And if it doesn't die of natural causes, I give people permission to smother it with a pillow. "Unintentionally" let it get lost in the Rockies in the winter. Or whatever else you want to come up with.

Just don't give it any more attention and for all that is holy in this world, never actually play it.

Think of the children, please. Let this reign of terror end!

Did I mention that I don't care for this song at all?

I liked that song when I was a child for about 2 minutes (not literally) I got over it pretty quickly. It was good for the Rugrats In Paris movie (the only reason I liked it)

I remember Who Lets the Dogs Out. A lot of people went crazy over it until the song went away.
