Two
1) Compound (Open) Tib/Fib - It's bad news when you fall skiing and see a 'second' knee at the shin area followed by your ski pants turning a dark crimson....
2) Coincidentally ruptured L1/L2 and L2/L3 disks with Axial Burst of L1 and L3
I broke my femur playing football. I was in traction for 8 days. Then the Dr. came and told me I could stay like that for a month and get a cast up to my hip...or have surgery and be on crutches in a week. So, they ended up putting a steel rod down the center of my femur. It stayed there for a week and during the next football season. After the season, I had to return for surgery to have it removed from my leg. So now I have an 18 inch scar up my right arse cheek and my loving sister calls me "Scarface". lmao that witch.
I once got stung by a bee.......but not an ordinary bee this bee knew kung fu, He even told me his name Bruce Bee...nah for real. I used to Long jump like in the olympics when I was about 14 cause I thought it was fun and looked cool on tv. Me and my friend would measure the landing spot to see who jumped further. I pulled the muscle in the back of my upper leg, and being young and dumb I kept jumping and made it worse. Now sometimes I play basketball and the injury get's re introduced to my pain receptors. but not to bad.
The ball came almost completely out of the socket in my hip. It was called a slipped epiphesis (not sure about the spelling). I had 2 surgeries. The first was to put a pin through my knee for traction which I was in for 2 weeks. The 2nd was to put 2 titanium screws in my hip.
Yup, then those damn nurses would come in and drag me up to the top of the bed. One nurse lifted the weights to allow the other to move me, (she was knew) and my mom didn't know I cursed until that day. lol I was 14.
I got up from the bottom of a pile in a football game. I was lying on my back and I looked over thinking, "dang that guy is wearing shoes just like mine!" then I realized that it was my foot pointing toe up by my head. I looked down and about three inches above the knee my leg made a u-turn. Didn't hurt right then. lol
Ouch!! I bet that hurt later though after the adrenaline wore off. They said mine just kinda grew that way. Could have been from one of the quad accidents I had. I was about the same age when I had mine.
Yeah, they took x-rays and were transporting me to a larger hospital about 40 miles away so they knocked me out. I remember coming through and seeing that steel rod going through my leg for traction and freaking the hell out. lol
Needless to say I wasn't the same player the following year, but I over came it with great coaches and went on to play at the college level.
i got pissed off at my grandma and kicked the crap out of my tv and had to have surgery immediatly. she told me i couldnt get a girl prego in 3 hours and i won and she wouldnt give me the money.
Torn hamstring while running 100m dash, falling instantly to the track.
Torn ligaments in knee while playing rugby.
Both took c. 3 months to recover enough to train again.
someone cut a large hole in my stomach to perform surgery on me when i was ~3 weeks old. (So probably not that large a hole now i think about it...)
Yeah, i don't get injured much.
But i object to your name, that should be "football" according to almost every other country in the world.

Playing goalie in hockey, I took a slap shot to the left testicle and bruised it badly. Thankfully again, another good doctor.
I think I should quit sports if I wanna have kids.
