But how STUPID are Illinois DEMS to re-elect him when he has not been in congress since MAY, and hasn't conducted the business of his elected office since May. I think he was holding out to make the number of days to qualify for his federal retirement.

A spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner says the office received a letter of resignation from Jackson but would not release any details. Earlier, Jackson's brother Jonathan Jackson told the Chicago Tribune that he was going to resign "momentarily." The congressman could not be reached.

I think his mental health issues are paramount in this case.
FIRST comes the LEGAL issues with a Democrat then after they get caught comes the mental disease..
With Republicans ,, THEY get the Legal Problems FIRST then when THEY get caught all of a sudden they get "Jesus"...
