Is it just us, or are movie posters getting a little ridiculous?

While the latest poster for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is significantly better than those horrendous "X-Men" posters we had the misfortune of seeing last week, we're still a little confused by Captain Sparrow's wistful skyward gaze...

My guess is that it's either a still from the movie that's been recreated and we'll find out when we see the movie OR they hired a romance novel cover artist and it's just their interpretation.

Either way, does it really matter?

It was a long row boat ride to shore and the has developed a pain to poop. He is looking for a tree large enough to support his weight, that also has a fairly bushy shrub for privacy near by and leaves large enough to be effective for cleaning. Ya can't just hunker down any where. Ya have to put a little thought into it lest yee have a mishap, or become stranded.

He is looking at...something in the distance it makes it look more realistic I guess. You know kinda like when you take a picture of someone who is not looking at the camera, its more real then if they are looking directly at it.
