All set for the reinvention of Total Recall and Judge Dredd?
Even original plots are consistently represented in at least the science fiction genre of a dystopian future where a few elite rule and the minions herd like sheep.
Promethius, love it or hate it (I loved it) is another great tale, a prequel of sorts.
Batman is another.
