The all star game is another exhibition just like the Pro Bowl and NBA's all star game. They don't mean a thing. They should all just play a softball game because no one wants to get hurt.

At least the american league cleaned up once again on interleague play. It was a massacre. That shows superiority since all the teams are involved and its not a one game exhibition.

The AL is still much the better league as this years usual interelague results show. With all the teams involved over a large sampling, that shows a better picture of who the better league is. It isnt even close, the A.L. dominates interleague play, they crush the N.L.

yes, up 43,- 38 overall.

american has won 12 out of the last 15 though.

when i was a kid the national league won 11 times in a row.

those were the days.

I think Verlander kind of set the tone when he decided that it was more important to show off then to actually get people out. I'm still not sure what kept their bats so silent.

National League has better YOUNG talent right now ex: Matt Cain, Joey Votto, Chapman, Strasburg, Bryce Harper, Buster Posey etc American league has more money and experience it seems, and that will beat young talent most of the time in sports. In a few years the National league will have far better teams tho. You can tell already, with Washington and Pittsburg getting better along with Cincinnati. The Yankees, Red Sox and Angels are only getting older

That sounds real good, it just isnt the truth is all. Trumbo, Trout,
(doing better than Harper) Adam Jones, Darvish , Chris Sale are all top future stars. Washington is getting better, but Atlanta and Philly suck. The AL will continue to dominate interleague play for years to come.

lol, if thats what you want to go with, fine. I could say the AL domination would be even greater if there pitchers had more experience batting. The AL wins in interlague for one simple reason, they have better all around talent.

Justin Verlander got the A.L. into a very early hole that they couldn't dig themselves out of. Not really bummed about the game but losing home field advantage in the World Series is huge.
