I love the sarcasm which drives the point home - our freedoms are under attack because Obama and the Leftists in Congress think the only reason socialism/communism hasn't worked is because they weren't running it.

Unless we do something quickly, that is exactly where we are headed.

I can't recall such a birthday celebration for a President in my lifetime. It does, however, remind me of the giant displays I viewed on TV from Iraq, Russia, and China.

Years of academic indoctrination. Many believe it is a drug culture where we medicate our kids and ourselves and therefore lose awareness. A media culture that doesn't report the truth and instead reports propaganda. A "me me me" culture where people are so self absorbed, they can not see beyond their own self. And arrogance. People are so arrogant they think this could NEVER happen in my country. Guess what, communism, fascism, call it what you want, is happening right before our eyes. I prefer the red pill of reality than the blue pill of delusion. It is not pretty but it is reality.

We also have a dumbed down society. The other day, I saw a clerk make a transaction at a store. She owed the customer 3 dollars and change. She didn't have enough ones. The man said, that is ok, let me give you 2 dollars. She took the $2 and stared at it a long hard stare. She had no idea what to give him back. Ironically, I knew the man and he was my son's middle school math teacher. I chuckled and shook my head. The girl was college aged. Just a small example of what we are dealing with.

I hope for a lot of things, I just don't think it was for a fool with no prior experience in running something even as simple as a hot dog stand would become President. But by God I got my change alright. I had to learn how to file for unemployment when the construction in this town died and my job was eliminate. Keep in mind many of these cancelled projects were listed as turn key projects in the stimulus package. Ya, they weren't. But luckily I have a business of my own which I operate which should get me through... Again... I HOPE...
