What do you think of people that dress their pets up and treat them like toys?

Personally, I think it's horrible, especially when people dress them up in tutus, and skirts and dresses, and when they put shoes on their pets. I think some of the clothes are cute, but I would never make a pet wear them.
Another thing I hate is when people put their dogs in handbags. I honestly feel like punching them.

But all the other unnecessary clothing like the hats and dress's or whatever is a bit to much. Surprisingly my dogs love to wear their jackets I suppose it's because that's how I raised them but Luna my kitty absolutely hates it. But sadly it's mandatory for her to wear clothing. In order for her to be able to survive.
As for dogs wearing clothes...in some cases it's actually advisable, although some people's sense of style is...questionable. If my dog lost his fur tomorrow, I'd have no issue putting a sweater and some trousers on him. Sure he'd look daft, but he'd be a warm puppy \^w^/
As for handbags...if your dog is small enough and can get away with it, I'm fine. Chihuahua's and Yorkshire Terriers in particular tend not to be able to go very far. I remember actually managing to physically exhaust a staffordshire bullterrier...hehehe... ah I had to carry him home dammit >.<; (It was a thirty mile round trip and he refused to move after 20ish)
If I tell him off, he sulks. If I rattle the toy box he goes nuts. If I feed him his favourite treat (a Ham bone lately) he'll go daft and be extremely happy. If I talk to him he talks back, maybe not in my language but we understand each other.
He is very much like a three year old =P
