both. I think it's a big put on. These people are the same kind of people I grew up around and live around to this day. Take a look at them. people who are as trashy as they portray don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. These people have a pretty nice home that is clean and well maintained, a nice newer model vehicle that is somewhat clean. The man of the house, according to the show, works 7 days a week. This isn't the life of typical white trash. I'm sure they're not the most high class people on earth, but I assure you, they're not as bad as they portray. They're likely people I would associate with.

She's a nightmare and sadly, a product of her upbringing. Her parents think she is cute now but I doubt they will be thinking that when she is 16.

her MOTHER is the nightmare. Telling her show her belly, giving her go go juice. Was hilarious when her mom had to wear the pageant outfit. She looked like a hot air balloon.

Caught a portion of it last night when I saw the title listed for tlc. Being rather perplexed, I put it on. After fifteen minutes, I was more perplexed how these people were given a show. If I was a cameraman, I would have beaten them with the camera or mic boom.

That show made me sick. It's ridiculous. I hope everyone knows that that is not how all people from the South act. "Honey Boo Boo" and her family are just downright disgusting. And "Honey Boo Boo" isn't that cute of a kid, to be quite honest. And someone really needs to get that kid on a good diet, they may think it's cute for her to be chubby now, but that's really unhealthy for a child.

She should be thrilled she is NOT a member of my family. Her attitude and actions would NOT be tolerated. Nor would she be in those awful pageants. Hagar can't understand why Child Protective Services isn't involved for these kids.....

The tv show Dallas was fiction, too LOL and Larry Hagman
admitted to being freaked out by the tons of Get Well Soon cards
sent by fans when J.R. Ewing got shot.

LOL...the only time I ever tuned in to Dallas it was some wedding..going along nicely and then men came crashing on ropes through the windows and shot up the place. I tuned out of that. I wasn't a fan. But sometimes it truly frightens me how 'out of touch' my fellow Americans can be......

The Beverly Hillbillies were good honest people, always trying to do better for others and each other. Boo boo, et. al., don't even get the concept. And yeah...they ARE stranger than fiction .....
