What do you think about the death threats that are being sent to Iggy's new family?

According to Ellen Degeneres, people have been sending threats of death and acts of violence to Iggy's new home. Ellen pleads with her passionate viewers to stop it, and states that she's had death threats herself, and that its not fun.

What do you think about the people who sent them?

It's the saddest thing that the world is full of creeps...but that is not new! As far as the new family goes...no..it's not their fault any of this has happened. IF it were me I would just file papers....get approval..and give the dog back to the little girls in question and get this stupid mess over with once and for all. IF it were me I couldn't take the dog knowing that their hearts were broken needlessly...but that's just me...I'm sure not blaming anyone for keeping the dog either. The new family doesn't deserve anyone's wrath ever!
Perhaps the authorities will find these crazies and do something about it.! No doubt there are people out there that know who they are and won't turn them in..that's not new either. All in all, once again, we see the world we live in occupies nuts taking up good breathing air and wasting their lives!! Good luck to the new family, Ellen, and Mutts and Moms....all of whom, I'm sure, are doing the best they can!!

The anger should be directed at Mutts and Moms, not the new family. They did nothing wrong. They can't give it back to the girls because of Mutts and Moms.
Mutts and Moms should be shut down, as Marina Batkis is not really concerned for the welfare of the dogs, as much as she just wants to control other people by threatening to take their dogs away if they're not good enough. What a cruel person......

Mayor Martin Chavez of Albuquerque is trying to start a new program that no animal is euthanized, but placed in a home even if it requires transporting the animal to another city. Our city councilmen are standing in his way....red tape.....Ellen, Please help!!! Invite him to your show and get him the attention he needs to make his program work. You'd be helping sooooo many animals on a long term basis. Love, Jackie

Enough is enough. What kind of nut does this to a family for doing the right thing in providing a good home for a dog?! This could only happen in California! Get real and let this go! The dog is in a good loving home and that is what Mutts and Moms wanted in the first place. So there were a few extra stops along the way. There are children involved in this and the adults reactions to the situation is not teaching them to continue to do the right thing in the future! Way to go NUTS! Teach the kids that if you are a caring, giving type of person then the world will make your life a living hell. This family needs to be left alone to enjoy their new family member and maybe, just maybe they will add more needy animals to their home in the future. I say give them a round of applause for their good deed!!!!

While I disapprove of the death threats and other misguided actions of some of the people who are terrorizing Mutts and Moms, I can totally relate to the feelings of outrage sparked by the rescue group. It is unfortunate that people have stooped to that level. The new family should have some moral or ethical responsibility to the little girl who is hurt by this. They should put themselves in that little girls shoes and try to have some empathy. They should just give the girls dog back and adopt another dog that needs a good home instead of being selfish.

FIRST I THINK THEY SHOULD TALK WITH THE POLICE COMM. It is not the fault of Iggy's new family so those people should not be sending them death threats but they should not be doing it to anyone for any reason. I hope they catch them if they can and prosecute them to the full extent of the law. I am sure that some of them have never watch Ellen's show but only heard about this situation so they decided to do it because they don't have anything else to do. It seems people like these need to get a life of their own.

People who get this emotional and make threats should stop getting involved with other people's issues and deal with their own. "Death Threats" that is way out of line! Remember all anyone not directly involved knows about this topic is what they have read and heard. One may form a loose opinion on the topic matter but, strong emotional threats are not acceptable.

OMG....people grow up! The new family isn't to blame for this either. There are many victims in this tragic issue. Who gives them the right to do this? This poor innocent puppy all it wants is a home and a family to call it's own... My God....what is the world coming too...Yes Ellen should have read the contract more carefully....but yes Mutts and Mom's should have pointed out that clause to her just in case. Both were wrong!! That's no reason to victimize everyone else.

It is against the law to call and harass people with death threats. But some "fans" take their fanaticism seriously!! They should be found, warned about the consequences of making death threats. If they continue then they deserve a fine and should be jailed so they do not follow through with an action.
Of course none of this would have even happened if Ellen had read her legal contract, DUH!
She also never needed to whip this situation up "on the air." Maybe if she had not approached the problem the way she did, which IMHO, was very poor it would never have gone this far. If the new family Ellen picked had gone through the correct screening process, they probably would have been allowed to keep Iggy. Stupid is as stupid does!(Referring to Ellen)
Iggy like most dogs, will not understand all the hoopla and will just be happy to find a loving, stable, and permanent home. Keep the faith Iggy, not all humans are morons. May God give you and all other animals a good home soon. May people learn to be responsible for their actions.

It sounds like this Muts and Moms agency had too much power. I would never rescue a animal from a place like this as they will always have the power over the animal. This agency just needed to do the right thing and that was to give Iggy back to those little girls. Death threats may be a little too much but people are passionate over right and wrong, and this agency was wrong. They need to go out of business as they sound like a bunch of nuts. Lastly, If anyone remembers a loss of an animal in their life time knows that it hurts your heart to lose them.

Tell them to send their threats to someone who deserves them, for instance a detestable world leader like Putin of Russia, or Ahmadinejad -- the leader of Iran. These men would seem to be appropriate subjects for such things, not innocent helpers of the animal kingdom.

all the poor people who have been pull in to this inclueing Ellen.
She is so sad over it. And iggy the dog, is going to be a dog that is never going to be forgotten. He is just a dog that wanted to be loved. I hope he is loved. and gets the care he needs.
And I hope and pray that the two girls get a dog or a cat to fillin for their pain.
unforgenetally it will not be "iggy".
Someone needs to talk to the people who run this shelther for they are wrong with their rules. "Iggy had a good home". the dog was a gifted to two children who just wanted a pet. It should of not matter that they adopted the dog, God may of all along wanted the girls to have him. if so the girls will see Iggy again.

This entire thing is absurd!!! Are these people thinking they can get some kind of personal acknowledgement for this? Ellen, in my opinion, acted responsibly by giving the pet to a better suited home. Why aren't these people focusing their anger on something that would better serve our country like fighting the irresponsible government who has our people dying for their personal agenda. When are we as a society going to say enough BS and focus on more urgent things. I am a HUGE animal lover it is clear Iggy is being cared for. FOCUS on a positive move for our country!!!!
