it's what you eat your food on, and while you are waiting for the food, you would prob put your elbows on it and before u do that, you would notice if the table was clean or not and if it's like all greasy and stuff, you would feel a bit sick to your stomach so yeah if the table is clean, it doesn't affect your appetite.

If they don't bother with the bathroom, what the public sees, then they don't bother with the kitchen, what the public doesn't see.

If they can't keep the bathroom clean how can they keep their much larger kitchen or even tables clean ? If they give no attention to the bath room it's usually the same with the food

Since cleaning the tables is the first thing that gets done, before the floors are mopped and the toilets are cleaned....if the tables aren't done, nothing else is done either.

If the bathroom is nasty, I figure the kitchen is not cleaned well either. Not just customers but employees use the bathroom. Most places will attempt to keep the front of the place clean because it what customers see first. A facility that cares about cleanliness will maintain it in the whole building.

Federal tax is the same for all but county and local tax differs. Also the tax is progressive. The county I am in has one of the highest taxes (Geneva) and I pay nearly 24% of tax. Health insurance is mandatory and you have to pay it yourself (not included in taxes). Cost of living is very high but taxes are lower than in many con tries.. Hope it helps

if you don't make income you don't pay taxes. but you still have to pay health insurance, with help from the government if you have not enough income.
If you are married both income of the husband and the wife are counted together. Married people with no child pay more taxes than live-in partnership couples (It's a Swiss weirdness)

okay...that's what i wanted to know. so the taxes are premised on Swiss generated revenue and being a property owner. i want to visit but i don't fly anymore. i look at a lot of pictures. but ya never know!

All three ......table, appearance of staff, floor, neighborhood too!! Kitchens and refrigerators can be so nasty !! Depends on the attitude they ave toward their customers .....do they convey spoor attitude towards the public ??

That's a weird theory to me. I make the boys wipe over the boards, clean the equipment, wash the dishes and sweep the floors out back 100x more than I ask the girls to go clean the toilets. The toilets are usually fine and only need doing 2-3 times a day. The kitchen is cleaned constantly. It's called "cleaning as you go".

As an electrician I have worked on repairs in restaurants and it has disgusted me to see food preparation areas. The people in them generally didn't care and it sure makes me think before I go out to eat.

Usually go right in to wash my hands. If it looks well stocked and clean I feel that the staff is actually going in there to wash their hands as well.

plus, the rag they use to wipe up, & the method they use to do it. If you catch a glimpse, while they're clearing & re-setting...tells allot!
