You bastards! Green Day isn't meaningless!!! What do you think Wake Me Up When September Ends in about? HIS FATHER'S DEATH! What do you think Good Riddance Time Of Your Life is about? HIS GIRLFRIEND WHO MOVED TO ECUADOR! I could go on FOREVER! Now I don't listen to Evanescence at all, but I'm sure there ARE emotional songs by them. But don't just start thinking that Green Day is some lame-o punk rock band. Their songs have deep meanings to them!!! Why not go google Green Day song meanings for proof?

I've heard some of their songs, but they don't get their point across like Evanescence does. If Green Day has deep emotion in their song, then they've made it really, really subtle. And there's no need to go off the handle.
