I didn't watch but all the buzz today is Mooch Obama showing up. Again the disgraceful spending of these two for their personal entertainment, and the celebrity hob knobing, when so many citizens are in dire need and the national debt is unprecedented absolutely repulses me.

Worst Oscars I have ever seen.the only high-lite was Michelle Obama presenting the Best Movie award.

I Didn't get a chance to catch them but everyone else seems to be EH-ish about it. Most of the time the Oscars are overrated anyway.

Oh, I loved the Oscar show ! It was amazingly good entertainment and Seth
proved to be an extraordinary host. He was very witty and I admire that.
Congrats to all the winners ! They worked hard to entertain us and they deserve the accolades !
Me and my wine had a really great time ! LoL. XD

It is rare that the Oscar Awards agree with my choice of a good movie, the best part of the awards for me was watching and listening to Daniel Day-Lewis, I just feel that he was awesome in his portraying of Lincoln, he did it to the "T."

One of my favourites. There were some things I didn't like (lack of DiCaprio, Michelle-- what does she have to do with the film industry??) but the ceremony was beautiful. The stage was the most stunning I've seen and the performers, especially the Les Mis cast and Shirley Bassey killed it! I just loved the incorporation of music and the use of famous movie themes between awards.

As a fan of Seth MacFarlane I had to tune in. I think he did a great job. It was entertaining, kept your attention, and it didn't feel like it was dragging on. Since I'm a lover of music, the added music was a big hit for me.

Shouldn't judge because I didn't watch, but as soon as I knew Anne Hathaway won an Oscar I threw up in my mouth a little...wtf.

I mean, it was awesome that Christoph Waltz won because he's basically my life, but I find it totally lacking that Neil Corbould didn't.

I didn't watch, but I heard Comrade First Lady Michelle Obama put in a guest appearance. I'm sure she fit right in with the self-congratulatory rituals of the most pampered, self-absorbed, narcissists in the history of human civilization. Did she get a prize?

I had to change channels three times, first when Hanoi Jane showed up in that hideous yellow dress, second when left-wing activist Barbra (that's the correct spelling - she mispells it herself) Streisand appeared, and third when they switched to the "first lady" in the White House. Jennifer Lawrence was gorgeous though!

All of the awards shows fall under the "Eh" category now. Most of the time the only reason to watch is the host(s).
