The biggest loser this week is the show's production team. According to TMZ, "Biggest Loser" contestants banded together and walked off in the middle of filming to protest the show's announcement that they might bring back eliminated contestants. They believe the choice would unfairly hamper their chances at winning the competition... plus, those competitors got eliminated earlier on for a reason.
Sources report that "nearly all" of the contestants agreed to walk off, and production has been completely shut down for "at least a week" while producers figure out what to do. The show's network refuses to comment, but the boycott will not affect the airing of Tuesday's episode. The contestants have not officially quit, but have apparently threatened to do so if producers decide to bring back eliminated contestants. Way to stick it to the man, guys! Do you think the "Biggest Loser" contestants were right to walk off the show?

Angelika Insomniac 2012/02/22 21:17:44Yes+8Don't watch it, don't care, BUT I don't think it's fair to bring back eliminated contestants on any competition show unless the contestants know it's a possibility before they start filming that it might happen.

I thought better of Buddy until he walked off but the other 4 have been the biggest whinners and the ones that complain the most about others they think rules apply to others but not them. I think they thought it's easy street. if the 5 walk off they don't have a prayer to win any money so let the babies walk and let's visit with them a year from the walk off and see how well they did keeping it off anything over a 10lb gain is a failure.
With that said, these contestants knew EXACTLY what they were getting into. Bringing back eliminated players has been done before and should have been expected. A lot of the times, players get voted off for off-the-wall reasons that really do warrent a second chance at the prize.
To those saying this show is abuse: take a look in the mirror and at your life. You think you can stuff your face with unhealthy foods and remain inactive and expect results by doing nothing? I can assure...this is not abuse to work hard and eat right and to push your body in the right direction! Abuse is not taking care of yourself and making exuses for it. In the end...you will pay the ultimate price with a pre-mature death.....that is unless you PUSH yourself and your body to break those years of accumulative bad habits.
I imagine their excuse for this is already being subjected to the return of the Aqua team who failed the challenge to get on the ranch. Though, it can be said the guy on the Aqua team destroyed himself by coming in as a loudmouth with a large ego which made Conda's bullying all too easy.
There have been returns of an eliminated contestant or two for several seasons. The Aqua team this season was questionable, given they had to prove they didn't need the ranch in order to get there.
Watching these people is terrible, and Dolvett's team is the worst. He has done nothing to actually deal with the issues of his team members, and Bob can only do so much. This season is downhill, and I feel sorry for the people under contract that are stuck with this group until the end.
