You never know what's going to come out of basketball legend Charles Barkley's mouth every time he's on camera -- and especially if there's a live microphone. You also wouldn't expect a guy who nationally endorses Weight Watchers to make fun of someone else's weight, particularly a city's entire female population. That's what Barkley recently did to the entire female population of San Antonio, Texas.
Following Sunday night's game that saw the San Antonio Spurs advance to the Western Conference Finals with a clean sweep of the Los Angeles Clippers, Barkley and his colleagues talked basketball on TNT's Inside The NBA. Well, co-hosts Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O'Neal talked basketball... Charles Barkley, not so much. When San Antonio was brought up, Barkley said that female undergarment store Victoria's Secret was a “secret” in the city because there's some “big ol' women there.”
For those of you that use social media, you've probably seen “Charles Barkley” come up on every trends list during NBA Playoff games on TNT. Sometimes, it's because Barkley has great analysis. In the case of Sunday night, it was because he said something that might be funny to some, but offensive to others -- specifically women. Memo to Barkley: Good luck not getting trolled by fans when you and the TNT crew go to San Antonio for the Western Conference Finals. Something tells us Charles Barkley won't experience too much southern hospitality in his upcoming stay.

Sad thing is.. it was also possibly truthful - - because there really are some really big women in San Antonio.
You see how big the people from Texas are ?
Do I think it was in bad taste? YES... How accurate was it? I don't know... that's subject to the person making that determination...
