It seems that everyone is somewhat sensitive about this particular foot fashion and foot wear.
Meantime men who wear their baseball caps backwards or sideways on their heads is considered acceptable and even seen as the cool dude image.
Baggy pants hanging down around their scrotum and nearly about to fall down while they show off their ass is also fairly common practice amongst many teens now.
Women walking around with mini skirts so short their big fat asses are hanging out and exposed for all to see along with thier big fake mega boobs on dispaly in push up bras while they have the latest fake color hair do's and gaudy make up plastered all over their faces along with the extra big fake eyelashes that are the fashion trend now.
I dont understand why sandles worn with socks are a such a questionable fashion issue to be scrutinized and criticized as compared to some of the really creepy fashion trends we do see all too often.

Wearing socks with sandals has been a fashion faux pas for as long as I can remember, but that doesn't stop people from doing it. Sometimes, convenience just trumps vanity. However, that's possibly all about to change, because at NYFW, there was an abundance of socks with sandals seen on the runway.
Marc by Marc Jacobs sent models walking in wedge flip-flops and sandals, while Prada premiered leather -- yes, leather -- socks with futuristic-looking chunky sandals. I'm all for people pushing boundaries and breaking norms, but what do you think of the socks and sandals combo? Is it a fashion do, or a fashion don't?

But I do enjoy looking at what women wear on their feet..especially when they wear some of the high heel fashion shoes that are available.
There is something about high heel shoes ...maybe you can explain womens fascination with high heel shoes.

It's acceptable from an Urban/GHETTO-ASS perspective.

I agree. The only group that may have a legitimate issue with flip-flops/sandles worn with socks, are foot fetishists. I personally don't find this trend particularly flattering, unless the weather is extremely cold, or it's someone who has something to hide (e.g. funny looking toes)...
I dont criticize it but when people do point it out, then when you do look at the combination of various kinds of sandles worn with various kinds of socks I guess you could begin to form a "fashion opinion" about what looks acceptable??? as compared to what looks silly or supposedly unacceptable????
I see a lot of Japanese, more so than most others wearing goofy looking sandles with goofy looking socks.
I guess they are thinking it is funny in a silly sort of way and if it suits their mood and maybe their personality then ...well hey .....they can be a form of entertainment while amusing everyone with their goofy looking foot wear attire...which usually includes some other combination of goofy looking trendy fashion attire also.
People watching is always entertaining.
It seems like you're a prude who is offended by women wearing revealing clothing.
Ahhhh...my dear you are quick to judge without knowing the person who you are judging.
Actually I support women walking around with no clothing at all rather than revealing clothing...lol.
Then there would be no need at all to discern what is right or what is wrong to be wearing concerning fashion clothing.
